Itinerary

Option 1 — VIP Sleeper Bus: Depart Hanoi Old Quarter in the evening. Arrive Ha Giang early morning; rest at Anans Home before your adventure begins.

Option 2 — Limousine Day Bus + Thon Tha Village (+1 day): Daytime bus, arrive early afternoon. After lunch, visit Thon Tha Village to explore Tay stilt houses and rice fields before starting the loop next morning.

Meet your guide and Easy Rider. Head north through Quan Ba and the Twin Mountains viewpoint. Wind through the rice-terrace valleys of Yen Minh. Check in at a local homestay.

8:30 AM: After breakfast, depart for the day's highlights:

  • Tham Ma Pass viewpoint
  • Pho Cao Village
  • Sung La Valley
  • Vuong Family Mansion — unique H'Mong, French, and Chinese architecture
  • Lung Cu Flag Tower — the northernmost point of Vietnam
  • China border area and Lo Lo Chai cultural village

5:00 PM: Arrive Dong Van Town. Check in and rest.

7:30 PM: Dinner. Free time to explore Dong Van Old Town night market.

8:30 AM: Depart along the legendary Happiness Road.

  • Ma Pi Leng Pass — one of Vietnam's most spectacular mountain roads
  • Ma Pi Leng Monument and Dinosaur Spine viewpoint
  • Walking on the Sky Path for panoramic valley views
  • Boat trip on Nho Que River through Tu San Canyon — the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia

12:30 PM: Lunch in Meo Vac Town. Continue toward Du Gia via Mau Due and Lung Ho.

5:00 PM: Arrive Du Gia Village. Dinner with traditional Tay cuisine and local corn wine.

Morning ride back through scenic mountain passes. Lunch in Tam Son (Quan Ba), then return to Ha Giang City around 4:00 PM.

Shower and relax at Anans Home before your bus back to Hanoi.

  • 6:00 PM — Sleeper bus (arrives ~12:00 AM)
