Itinerary

Option 1 — VIP Sleeper Bus: Depart Hanoi Old Quarter in the evening. Arrive Ha Giang early morning; rest at Anans Home before your adventure begins.

Option 2 — Limousine Day Bus + Thon Tha Village (+1 day): Daytime bus, arrive early afternoon. Visit Thon Tha Village to see Tay stilt houses and rice fields.

8:00 AM: Breakfast at the hostel.

8:30 AM: Meet your guide and Easy Rider; tour briefing over the map.

9:00 AM: Start the journey north.

  • Thuan Hoa and Thai An villages
  • Lunch in Thai An
  • Can Ty Pass, Duong Thuong, Lung Ho

Arrival at Du Gia: Check in at Du Gia Homestay. Visit Du Gia Waterfall before dinner.

8:00 AM: Breakfast at a local restaurant.

  • Ngam La Rice Terraces
  • Mau Due — lunch stop
  • Boat trip on Nho Que River through Tu San Canyon — deepest canyon in Southeast Asia (over 1 hour)
  • Ma Pi Leng Pass — the most spectacular stretch of the Ha Giang Loop (Dong Van to Meo Vac, 20 km)
  • Youth Volunteer Monument

Evening: Check in Dong Van Town homestay. Dinner.

8:00 AM: Breakfast.

  • Dong Van Moon Surface viewpoint
  • Nine Turns Pass, Tham Ma Pass
  • Yen Minh, Can Ty Pass
  • Lunch in Quan Ba
  • Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Bac Sum Pass

Return to Anans Home in Ha Giang City (~4:00 PM). Freshen up before taking your bus back to Hanoi, Sapa, or another destination.

Bus options: 4:00 PM, 5:30 PM, 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM, 8:30 PM, or 10:00 PM sleeper/limousine services.
