Most visitors to Phu Quoc stay near the beach. Continue to Starfish Beach and Cream Beach — two quiet beaches in the south with free time for swimming and photography.
Visit Phu Quoc Prison (Coconut Prison) — a preserved wartime detention camp where over 40,000 prisoners were held at its peak, with reconstructed cells, guard towers, and informational displays. Continue uphill to Ho Quoc Pagoda, a large Buddhist monastery perched on a rocky promontory above the sea — the views from the upper terrace are among the best on the island. Stop at The Peak Phu Quoc hilltop café for a rest. Visit a working pepper plantation to see how Phu Quoc's famous black pepper is grown, dried, and processed, with a tasting of different grades. Finish with a fresh seafood lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel around 1:00–2:00 PM.
